I honor the sacredness of life in myself by endeavoring to experience that sacredness as much, and in as many different ways as possible. Afterall, isnt that what we are truly here to experience.

Sure, most of us (myself definitely included) need to exhaust all of the dead ends that promise so much, but never deliver. Eventually though,the gateway is found. Its beyond the shiny cars, fancy clothes, reams of knowledge or good looks...actually, its within our very own heart! To be able to dwell here is Sacred with a capital S. Of course, quieting the mind from all the chatter helps to access this place. But through practice, this sacred experience grows, changes,
......and progressively, more and more becomes sacred. Not a bad deal......there's always more! and most importantly, unlike any other pursuit, the more I get, the better I feel, and am more fulfilled! Of course, I am sort of mocking our predisposition to always wanting more of something, but to taste the experience of Love...one that requires no other....Nothing can touch that.

BY ALWAYS ASKING THESE QUESTIONS TO MYSELF AFTER EVERY ACTION OF MINE : WAS THIS THE RIGHT THING TO DO ? IF I HAVE NOT DONE THE RIGHT THING , AM I ATLEAST ADMITTING TO MYSELF THAT I HAVE NOT DONE THE RIGHT THING? HAS THIS ACTION BROUGHT ME PEACE OF MIND OR HAS IT CAUSED DISTURBANCE ?

I keep the gateway open. I exercise, meditate and affirm positive thoughts and feelings. If I don't, the gateway closes and I'm closed to the sacredness of life, seemingly separated from that sacredness, separated from myself. For me, the way to honor that sacredness is to be connected to it, and the way to connect to it is to be aware of it, and to be aware of it is to keep the gateway open.

I honor the sacredness of life in myself by living truthfully. Life is of no value if you don't have it. Drink tea. Be kind. Practice the Golden Rule and study Zen. Live the Holistic Model..

Life as essence is sacred. Without it, we have nothing. Life is ultimate value.
