International Day of Peace: The Peace Dragon takes its first steps in Canada!

Kia Scherr, Bernie Koftinoff and Linda Ragsdale visited Anne McClymont Elementary school in Kelowna, B.C., Canada to share the message of One Life Alliance in the first Peace Dragon art project to celebrate the International Day of Peace with 450 students.

Kia Scherr, Bernie Koftinoff and Linda Ragsdale visited Anne McClymont Elementary school in Kelowna, B.C., Canada to share the message of One Life Alliance in the first Peace Dragon art project to celebrate the International Day of Peace with 450 students. After Linda led the children of each class in an exciting step by step art process, one-of-a-kind Peace Dragons were drawn on bright yellow bags, donated by the Sunshine Market, a local market owned by Bernie and Larry Koftinoff. The ladies then led the students on the first International Peace Dragon Parade. The following story was aired on CHBC News that evening.
