Twelve top student leaders are St. Andrew's College from Bandra (suburb of Mumbai, India) are the first to participate in the One Life Alliance Ambassador Program. They will engage in the 30 Day Pledge practice and develop a project to honor the sacredness of life in their community. These Catholic students have chosen to reach out to their neighbors in a nearby Muslim slum. This project will be launched on January 8th. The students are led by Kia Scherr and being mentored by Swedish Pledge graduates, Martin Thambert, Johan Sagvik, Ricky Holmstrom and Ove Holmstrom.
This project inaugurates the online global community of One Life Alliance. In addition to the Swedish connection, our Synchronicity and OLA associate from Mexico, Luis Xavier, paid a visit to St. Andrew's when Kia delivered the Pledge books to the students. Xavier was in India on business just at the time the student's began their Pledge practice. This entire meeting was broadcast on French Radio Internationale to 80 countries by Sebastien Farcis.
