OLA – Mumbai
The Dharma Bharathi Mission of Mumbai (www.dbmindia.org) is a beautiful example of One Life Alliance in action. They are honoring the sacredness of life in the children of the largest slum in Mumbai, Dharavi, by providing education and meals for 1000 children daily as well as quarterly medical check-ups and nutritional supplements. Kia Scherr notes that "the sacredenss of life shines through the light in the eyes of the children and in their beautiful smiles."
